Sunday Hikes

Being the hiking lover family that we are, we have now decided we go for some kind of walk or hike each Sunday after church and naps. I'll let the pictures from the last two trips tell the stories.

We hiked through the woods not far from our house.
The woods ran into a steep road in Patapsco State Park that is typically gated off, but if you walk in...
We saw this sign in the middle of the road and instead of walking ahead,
Will suggested we see what they are doing and if we could help.
Will found out they meet and clear trails for hikers and cyclists each month.
Even though we came after they were finished they gave the kids donuts.
We crossed over a bridge into a different part of the park and found a nice area to eat our picnic lunch.
Liam makes this face all the time. I love it.
 Me and my boy.
Belle is the hiking-est girl I have ever seen, ever since she was quite little.
Evee fell asleep on the way home.

Hike number two was along the river by our home.

Showing the kids the natural spring.
 This place was so beautiful.

 Going under I-70.
Belle was so helpful with both Evee and Liam.

Evee said she wanted a picture of herself crying. Funny girl.

I love spending time outdoors with my family. It rejuvenates me.
